What is EZ-CD4?

EZ-CD4 is an alternative method of enumerating CD4+ lymphocytes for assessing HIV/AIDS patients in resource-limited countries..

EZ-CD4 provides a Low-Cost, Simple to Perform, and reliable solution than the expensive and complicated Flow Cytometric procedure.

Intended Use of EZ-CD4

• HIV/AIDS prognosis or the related diseases
• Monitoring HIV progression
• Indicator of initiating antiretroviral treatment (ART)
• Monitoring the progression for patients who receive antiretroviral treatment

We are pleased to introduce our EZ-CD4 solution, a new approach in enumerating CD4+ lymphocytes. It is not only inexpensive and easy to perform, but is as reliable and enable much shorter turnaround time in establishing test result. EZ-CD4 is helpful in identifying individuals whose CD4+ lymphocytes counts are less than 200 cells/¼ an important threshold where treatments often started and is useful to judge treatment efficacy. EZ-CD4 is proven to hold good correlation to Flow Cytometry and takes on the same CD4+ lymphocytes cutoff number as suggested by CDC. The only instrument  needed to support the EZ-CD4 test is a Hematology Analyzer, which makes it a good alternative for clinics / hospitals /  laboratories / government agencies and any other medical organizations with small or limited budget.
